It's 5am and I jsut woke up from an insanely long nap. I went to sleep around 4-5pm (it's now 5am) since I had only gotten less than two hours of sleep the night before.
It's been a Hell of a day. I had to move today, and I didn't know where I was going until like two days ago. Around Christmas week, my previous room mate had told me that he was moving back home once our lease ended. Which meant, I had to find a new room mate, a new place and save up for it blah blah blah. I knew damn well that I couldn't save up for an apt of my own with the security deposit and all, nor could I be able to afford to live by myself even if I put my entire tax return for one month's rent and what not. In short, I moved into the spare bedroom at my friend's place. So, I'm still soaking that in.
Sadly, I had to give up my cats. They have two dogs and my friend's dad is allergic to them. And, my room is much too small to keep either of them. At first we had found someone to take them as outdoor cats, but since they're indoors, they'd be attacked by foxes and raccoons and what not. So, while we were out to lunch, my friend's mom had called us to tell us that she had to take them to the shelter. I had to do the verbal confirmation thing that they wouldn't be in contact with me blah blah blah no matter what happened to them blah blah blah.
They took the litter boxes and food and treats and toys I had provided with them. And since the kitties were so nice, they said that they'd have a high chance of getting adopted. They said they only destroyed the terminally ill and hostile animals.
I miss my cats... They must be so scared. They probably think I hate them...They were my babies crying They cuddled up to me at night and kept me company and cheered me up when I was sad...
